Emily Bush

Originally from Leeds, England, Emily moved to Australia in 2009 and immediately started her career in the Real Estate Industry, working for a small family-owned business & managing a portfolio consisting of properties in Victoria and New South Wales.

Emily then joined Ray White Mildura, continuing her role as a Property Manager while also becoming an EA to the Director. Emily loved the Ray White atmosphere so much that when moving to Bendigo, she decided to stick with the Ray White Brand. Her work at Ray White Mildura was of such a standard that when ringing up for a reference, the Bendigo Directors were told, “if you don’t have a job for her – make one.” Emily was promoted to Team Leader in 2018 and a Company Partner in 2020. In this time her team has grown from 3 to 12.

Emily’s greatest strength is using her personal touch and genuinely caring about tenants, landlords, and her staff. She understands and empathises with both tenants and landlords and finds the best solution to benefit them both. She delivers good service and builds long-term relationships. Emily is not satisfied with just resolving the current issue, she works hard behind the scenes doing her best to prevent issues from taking place.

Emily has implemented several great initiatives within the business. She introduced quarterly surveys allowing the team to monitor customer satisfaction, and consistently make changes to improve service levels. She runs Property Management Wellness Nights regularly where the team catches up and nature their wellness by participating in different activities. Once her team grew she gave up her portfolio, spending her time furthering relationships with clients and providing support for her team. She believes this is really what differentiates Ray White Bendigo, as all team members receive high levels of support and ongoing training. Her favorite part of the job is seeing her staff members develop, and she appreciates the investment that Ray White makes with regard to ongoing training for all employees. Emily also embraces the use of technological advancements in the industry and has introduced several new technologies to the business to improve staff workload and client service.

Emily loves the Ray White Bendigo culture, and how each employee is respected and cared for. She strongly believes that you can’t lead a team you don’t genuinely care about. This coupled with her investment in the well-being of her team are massive factors in the low employee turnover rate in her department.

Outside of work, Emily loves traveling around Victoria and discovering new places; so far, her favorite place to relax has been the Grampians! Her hobbies include theatre, reading, listening to podcasts and music.
